I have been so so eager and excited to show this haul to you guys. I actually got all these products a few weeks back but i wanted to use them all a couple of times first so i could give a thorough review. Since then i have been back to lush another three times, so it's safe to say i'm well and truly addicted! (But i think everyone is when they visit a Lush store)
It's now definitely that cold time of year again that my skin absolutely hates! It lacks colour and life and becomes so dry and such a pain to look after. It's also that time of year again where i practically hibernate and live in the bath! I felt the only answer was to go and visit my local Lush store! I wanted to get a few products that are all natural and all skin loving to help bring my skin back to life and with the help of a lovely sales advisor thats exactly what i got! And of course i had to get some bath bombs... when i say 'some' i've actually had to go and buy a 2 tiered stand just for all my lush bath bombs! You can never have too many.

I personally like going to my local store in Basingstoke as the staff are so friendly and helpful and i like to see their in store demos of the products i'm interested in. I basically can't leave until i have sniffed and poked every single item in there. I'm sure i'm not the only one!

Starting with skincare i chose Mask of Magnaminty face mask, Let The good Times Roll and Ultrabland which are both facial cleansers. I can honestly say that i don't think i will ever go back to using products containing ridiculous amounts of chemicals. Even after only a few weeks of use my skin feels the best it has done in so long! So now i am all about the natural products and drinking a ton of water! I just think that it's amazing that i've noticed results so quickly which is why i was so excited to tell you all about it!
I apply Mask Of Mag all over my face and neck while i lay back and steam myself in a really hot bubbly bath. The smell is just AMAZING, like christmas After Eights! It almost smells that delicious i could eat it, but DONT eat it, not even just a lick! It has minty bits in it which works as a great exfoliant when washing it off. I then take a small pinch of Let The Good Times Roll and pour a little bit of warm water in my hands a mix it into a thin paste. I then pat it all over my face, especially the dryer areas. I like to leave this on my face for about 5/10 minutes before i rinse it off. It has very small grains for a more gentle face scrub which is great if you have sensitive skin but still want to achieve a soft finish. Oh and like Mask Of Mag it also smells so good you could eat it! Like buttery, caramel popcorn!!!!!! SO. GOOD.
By this point my skin is feeling softer than a baby's bum! Now i did buy two cleansers which you probably don't need to use both in the same session but as my skin has been particularly dry i've then been applying a small amount of Ultrabland after using the exfoliating cleanser. Im slightly addicted to using this as it just feels SO silky milky smooth on your skin, especially after a good scrub. After leaving it to sink into my skin i like to wipe it off using a really hot/wet flannel. After i've finished my little facial routine i feel so refreshed but relaxed and my skin feels really hydrated and almost bouncy... If you can describe your skin as bouncy! I like to do this routine two to three times a week but i alternate the cleansers unless i've been out in the cold a lot then i will do a mega cleanse. I have also got 4 samples of moisturisers to try out to see which one works with my skin best before i buy a big pot of it. So far i have tried 2 of them and they have both done the job really well so it may be difficult to decide which one to get!
NEXT ITS THE BATH BOMBS!!!!!! There is nothing more satisfying than watching a huge colourful bath bomb dissolveand see it change your bath water into the brightest of colours, filled with sparkle right in front of your eyes! I picked up two bath bombs and a bubble bar. The bubble bar is great as you can get 3/4 uses out of it. Depending on which size you buy and how much you crumble in at a time. (Although sometimes it is tempting just to crumble the whole thing!) They also make your bath colourful with lots of bubbles!! The bubble bar i picked was The Comforter as its bright pink. I really wanted a pink bath that wasn't pink from my hair dye washing out. I like these bars so much i have since bought Brightside and Blue Skies And Fluffy Clouds. For bath bombs i went with The Experiment and Intergalactic which is now my absolute favourite one! I just couldn't believe how blue and sparkly my bath water was!! I felt like i had travelled to another bubbly bath dimension. As i mentioned earlier, since this haul i have been back numerous times and have purchased a lot more bath bombs. So many in fact that if i used them all at once the bath dissolving fizzyness would probably make my bath take off and shoot through the roof leaving only a trail of glitter behind.... and i am totally ok with this!
All of these bath treats leave your skin feeling super soft with a special hint of glitter.
